The Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL) is Australia’s occupation list for core skills roles. It covers a wide range of industries, including healthcare and nursing, education, engineering, information technology, business management, construction, and skilled trades.
You can check the occupation names in English and their corresponding ANZSCO occupation codes below to confirm whether your occupation is included on the list.

The CSOL is one of the key references used to determine eligible occupations for certain skilled visa pathways. However, the way it applies varies depending on the visa category.

The CSOL is not a universal occupation list used for all Australian skilled visas.
When checking eligibility for other visa categories, you should refer to the occupation list and requirements specific to that visa stream. An occupation being included on the CSOL does not automatically mean it is suitable for every skilled visa pathway.
