In 2010, the QS World University Rankings was recognized by the ‘IREG – Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence’ established by the International Expert Group on University Rankings (IREG). It is one of the rankings with the largest number of participating institutions and the widest reach in the world. It is recognized as one of the four authoritative world university rankings along with The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the U.S. News World University Rankings and the Academic Ranking of Global Universities. The QS World University Rankings use academic reputation, employer reputation, teacher-student ratio, research citation rate, and internationalization as scoring criteria.
