Project Introduction

This temporary visa lets you stay in Australia to work if you are employed or have an offer of employment in a key sector or any other sector of the economy. With this visa, you can
remain in Australia to work in any sector of the Australian economy, including the key sectors of agriculture, food processing, health care, aged care, disability care, child care, and tourism and hospitality. It can also include members of the family unit in Australia in your application.

 

 

Applicants working or Sole trader or have a job offer to work in any sector of the Australian economy may be granted a visa for 12 months.

Application Requirement

You must be in Australia.
At time of application, you must provide evidence of your ongoing employment or offer of employment. (Evidence could include payslips, a contract or a letter from your employer):
the dates of your employment
You can only be eligible for a COVID-19 Pandemic event visa if you are working or intending to work in Australia. You must have evidence of your employment or an offer of employment.
have a job offer from a Commonwealth funded aged care service, even if you do not have work rights on your current substantive visa.
You and any family members who apply for the visa with you must meet the health requirement.
You and family members aged 16 years and over who apply for the visa with you must meet the character requirement
Have adequate health insurance

Suitable for

Working holiday visa (462/417) holders who work in a critical area but cannot meet renewal requirements
Temporary skilled work visa (482/457) holders working in critical areas
Seasonal Agricultural Work Permit (403) holders whose visas are expiring
485 Graduate Work Permit and 500 Study Permit Holders whose visas are about to expire
