Project Introduction

Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) is to allow Australian employers to fill highly skilled positions with suitably qualified migrants. The scheme is designed to assist employers who are unable to meet their skilled Australian workforce needs from the local labour market.

 

The Labour Agreement stream might be for you if you currently work, or will work, for an employer who is party to a labour agreement.

 

Upon approval of this visa, the applicant is required to work for the Australian employer for a minimum of two years.

Application requirements

Unless the labour agreement provides otherwise, you must be aged under 45 years when you apply
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time work experience (some work exemptions may apply).
An IELTS score of at least 6 in each of the four components or an equivalent English language proficiency test is required.
If you are in Australia, you must hold a substantive 457 or TSS visa issued under a labour agreement.
Must currently work, or will work, for your employer under a labour agreement.
